Hackney Carriage Drivers annual Eurodisney Trip
One of the highlights of the Masters year is attending the send-off for the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Driver’s annual Children’s Magical Taxi Tour, taking sick and terminally ill children to Disneyland Paris. Lightmongers v Tallow Chandlers Annual Golf match
Once again the Lightmongers golfers took on the annual challenge against the Tallow Chandlers at Beaconsfield GC on 25th September 2001. This year it was 6 players, Simon Hobbs, James Hill, John Smith, Gerry O’Donnell, James Colkett and John Otten took up the Challenge in a Stableford match for the Arrow Cup, which resulted in a draw, 3 games all. Junior Warden Reception at the Savile Club
Our Junior Warden, Peter Harris, held his fund-raising reception at the Savile Club in London on 21st September. It was a very enjoyable evening for all the members and guests attending, with excellent food and wine, a superb cabaret and very enjoyable company.
