One of the highlights of the Masters year is attending the send-off for the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Driver’s annual Children’s Magical Taxi Tour, taking sick and terminally ill children to Disneyland Paris. Once again the Lightmongers golfers took on the annual challenge against the Tallow Chandlers at Beaconsfield GC on 25th September 2001. Our Junior Warden, Peter Harris, held his fund-raising reception at the Savile Club in London on 21st September. It was a very enjoyable evening for all the members and guests attending, with excellent food and wine, a superb cabaret and very enjoyable company.
