The Master visits Treloars School
The Master, Mike Simpson, joined the Lord Mayor’s annual visit to Treloars School on 8th March 2017. Treloars is a specialist school for disabled students, set up in 1907 by the then Lord Mayor, Sir William Treloars. Mary Hare School for Deaf Children
Swimming Pool - grand re-opening After a long fund-raising appeal to which the Lightmongers, as a long-term supporter, has contributed, Mary Hare school has been able to renovate its swimming pool. Senior Wardens Reception – raises £300 for the Charitable Trust
Barbara Harding the Senior Warden was delighted with attendance at her Senior Wardens reception, which was held at the Museum of Mechanical Music in Brentford on 3rd March 2017. Merchant Taylors Hall - 13th February 2017 The Master Mike Simpson attended the presentation along with representatives from Merchant Taylors, Masons, Plumbers, Joiners and Ceilers, Horners, Pavoirs and Coachmakers. Lightmongers Innovation Prize Winners at Mary Hare School
Tom Jackson was the winner of the 1st Prize of the Lightmongers’ Innovation Prize at Mary Hare. He won with this LED decorative table light which he designed on a CAD-CAM and completed himself. Carol Service December 2016
The Lightmongers held their annual Carol Service at St Botolph’s Without Aldgate on 7th December 2016.
