Once again the weather was good for our Charity Golf Day and it was one of our most successful golf days ever. It had great support with 23 teams (92 golfers) and another 12 guests for the evening dinner and prize giving. Having introduced hole sponsorship for the first time, it was geat to see 10 companies sponsoring holes.

The scoring was stableford with the best 3 scores per hole counting to the team result. As so often happens one team shines through and this year it was Paul Keyland and his tema from WG Wigginton with an excellent score of 115 points. The runners-up were Steve Nicholls and his team from Edmundson Elerctrical. Nearest the pins on the 5th and 17th were Phil Reader and Mike Henson.

The prize for the best score on the 10 sponsored holes was Richard Merchant with a score of 25 points.

The event raised £8458, a great result with thanks to all participants, sponsors and prize donors.
