During May Captain (now Colonel Sir) Tom Moore received the Freedom of the City of London, in recognition of his phenomenal COVID-19 fund-raising on behalf of NHS charities, with which we are all very familiar.
The ceremony was the first of it’s kind to be done on-line, due to COVID-19 restrictions and was streamed on-line on YouTube. You can view it at:

Following the success of the on-line ceremony for Capt Sir Tom and in view of the continuing COVID-19 restrictions, all candidates for the Freedom of the City of London now have the option of receiving their Freedom via an on-line ceremony, using the Microsoft Teams software.
