The Construction Livery Group held its annual awards ceremony at the newly refurbished Glaziers Hall on the 26th February. The awards date back to 2001 when Masters certificates were first awarded to those who have held a leading position in their profession. On the 24th February, 29 brave souls braved the artic weather to arrive at Westminster Abbey for the first of the events committee’s outings this year. We held our annual Carol service on the 6th of December in our Company Church, St Botolph’s without Aldgate. The Lord Mayor of London shows himself to the City of London in this, one of the best, parades in the world. The Lightmongers light up and visit our new affiliate, the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth As part of our affiliation with HMS Illustrious we donated two light projectors, which could be used to project slide images onto the superstructure of the ship.
