This annual match between the Lightmongers and the Tallow Chandlers Company, for the Arrow Cup, was started over 35 years ago. The trophy presented to the winning team each year, was first presented by Past Master Lightmonger, Stanley Brain of Arrow plastics.

This year our team of 8 players: James Hill, Greg Jarvis, Norman Emery, Graham Smith, Peter le Manquais, Thomas Emery, Graham Lewis and John Otten (team captain), managed a very creditable draw. As the match was drawn the Arrow Cup was retained by Tallow Chandlers as the current holders.

Liveryman and Past Master John Otten has done a great job over the last 20 years as our team captain and Liveryman Norman Emery has kindly agree to take on the captaincy from next year.
