During Autumn 2024 we held a Silent Auction as a fund-raiser for the Lightmongers Charitable Trust, which raised the fantastic sum of £900 for the Charity.

Senior Court Assistant Bruce Kirk was able, as a result of his lighting design work at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, to organise a private tour of that historic venue as a Silent Auction item, which was successfully bid for by two Lightmongers, Liverymen Peter Scott and Michael Page.

The event took place on 12th February and was conducted by Rev. Canon Dr. Mark Powell, whose detailed knowledge of the Chapel and its Royal associations brought the whole place alive for the visitors. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the visitors, with access to areas not normally open to the public. Unfortunately photography during the visit was not allowed, but Bruce Kirk has kindly provided the following photographs he has taken of the lighting design work, to illustrate the venue.

A wonderful event and fund-raiser, thank you to all those that made it so successful.
