The Lightmongers light up and visit our new affiliate, the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth As part of our affiliation with HMS Illustrious we donated two light projectors, which could be used to project slide images onto the superstructure of the ship. On 8th September, the Master joined the Lord Mayor, Alderman Andrew Palmley, and a number of other Livery Company Masters in abseiling down the side of the 224 metre (736 feet) high Leadenhall Building (the Cheesegrater as it is commonly known). On Saturday 8th July New College Worcester (NCW), with which the Lightmongers are affiliated, had their annual ‘Celebration Day’ and prize giving.
