Once again this year the Lightmongers enjoyed a great golf day at the Royal Automobile Club on their Old Course at Epsom. The weather maintained and was perfect for the golf, which of course led to the enjoyment by all, even encouraged some to come in with outstanding results.

A special thanks must go to Liveryman James Hill, who, apart from being the organiser of the event is also a scratch golfer and undertook the role of ‘Beat the Pro’ on a par 3 hole. Players contributed to the charity in the hope of being nearer the pin than James, indeed some did beat him and were rewarded with a sleeve of balls. This activity raised £340, well done James but the whole event raised a magnificent £6,500.
