At the annual Common Hall meeting (AGM) and Dinner of members held 1st November 2019, Liveryman Peter Harris was elected to serve as Master Lightmonger for 2019/20

The outgoing Master, Stephen Thomas, presented the Annual Report to the members attending the AGM and thanked everyone for their support to Lightmongers over the past year. He gave particular thanks to some individual members who quietly and in the background give generously of their time and skills to support the Company.

In his speech after the Dinner the Master paid tribute to the excellent way in which the Deputy Master Stephen Thomas had represented and promoted the Company during his year of office as Master.

Peter thanked all Members for the trust they have placed in him to be Master Lightmonger for the 2019/20 year and undertook that he would be enthusiastic in representing and promoting the Lightmongers at every opportunity.

The installation dinner was attended by 70 members, who all enjoyed a superb meal with plenty of conversation in the wonderful setting of Tallow Chandlers Hall (our home base).  Another a great evening and if you want to note the date for next year, it will be on Friday 6th November 2020!
