The Lightmongers held their annual Carol Service at St Botolph’s Without Aldgate on 7th December 2016.
The Service was led by the Lightmongers Honorary Chaplin, Fr Peter Harris and the Rector of St Botolph’s, the Reverend Laura Jorgensen, who gave the Address this year.
The Choir – East Wickham Singers- were a joy to listen to and lead the congregation in the singing of our traditional carols. It was again a privilege to have them with their Choirmaster Michael Stacy MBE and the organist Douglas Snow.
Special thanks to the Events Committee and Martin and Frankie Gratte for providing the buffet supper after the service, which was enjoyed by all.
The Carol Service was well attended and we were pleased to have with us this year, the Sea Cadets from TS Wizard and the Air Force Cadets from 56 Squadron.
