One of the highlights of the Masters year is attending the send-off for the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Driver’s annual Children’s Magical Taxi Tour, taking sick and terminally ill children to Disneyland Paris. On 8th September, the Master joined the Lord Mayor, Alderman Andrew Palmley, and a number of other Livery Company Masters in abseiling down the side of the 224 metre (736 feet) high Leadenhall Building (the Cheesegrater as it is commonly known).
