On 18th February the Lightmongers organised a visit to the Royal Air Force Museum at Hendon, arranged by courtesy of our Honorary Liveryman Air Chief Marshall Stephen Hillier.

This proved to be a popular event, with 26 Lightmongers and their guests enjoying a very interesting visit.

The date of the visit fell in half-term week so the Lightmongers were also pleased to be joined by 15 Air Cadets from our affiliated Air Cadet Unit, 56 (Woolwich).

The Lightmongers group were warmly welcomed and given a guided tour of the museum followed by lunch and the visit then rounded off with the opportunity to view items in the archives that are not normally on display.

A really interesting visit and many thanks to the organisers of it
